Last season was supposed to be a star-making year for Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant. In 2016, fantasy football rankings showed that fans believed he would make the jump from on-the-field player to a legitimate WR1 threat. And last season he showed some signs that he was becoming that 6’4”, 211 lb legit WR1 threat—that is, until he failed a second drug test and was suspended for the remainder of the season.
So, we must look back to 2014 and 2015 to see just where Martavis Bryant stands in 2017’s fantasy football rankings. During the 2014 season, Bryant was hampered by an A/C sprain and in 2015 was again kept off the field due to drug charges.
For Bryant to make an impact, he has to stay on the field! Whether it’s injuries or drugs, Bryant has missed 23 of the last 54 games.
Right now, fantasy football rankings have Martavis Bryant ranked around 30th in the wide receiver category.
